Today LA is gleaming in the sunlight. Again happy faces are everywhere. I need a caffeine fix……..good coffee in LA…..grrrr……mission impossible! I finally settle down, coffee in hand, and start planning my day. Shoot with Silvana Lovin, meeting with Danielle Bernstein and The LA Film Festival. Best be on my way me thinks.
Silvana and her mini entourage of stylists and make up artists meet me Downtown.
It’s always great to see this fabulous girl. Looking terrific, we chat as she gets ‘done’ for our shoot. She is working on her art and there some exciting projects on the horizon she says, not revealing too much. The shoot commences, it’s stylish, raw, edgy and sophisticated. It’s such a breeze working with Silvana, a professional through and through.
This mission accomplished, I dash to my next meeting across town. This time I’m meeting with Danielle Bernstein, blogger extraordinaire at ‘We Wore What’. Imagine just 21, and on Instagram alone she has 200 000 followers. We are here to finalize details of the collaborative photo shoot between her blog, We Wore What, and APL Photography. We part with big ideas for tomorrow.
Back at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, I put on my razzle dazzle. A man has to look just right in this big city. Moments later with my fellow colleagues, I’m at the red carpet and the LA Film Festival doesn’t disappoint. The stars are out in force tonight. Amongst the many that posed for me, Oscar winners, Forest Whitaker and Octavia Spenser. It’s been a great night for APL Photography.
So job done, I head back to the hotel to unload my equipment. I’m glad I did, as Miley Cyrus, looking better then ever, was catching up with friends there.
It’s still warm and I feel like a swim but decide to head on to meet @weworewhat for dinner.
We’re eating at CLEO, a very trendy and chic lounge bar. Perhaps more celebrity sightings?
So I leave you with that for the moment. More of my adventures to come.

Till the morrow then…………
