Day 3 of L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival was truly a night to remember. There was a flurry of excitement among the guests, as they were preparing to experience RUNWAY 1 presented by Vogue.
The runway showcased an impressive line up of Australian designers including, Akira, Carla Zampatti, Collette Dinnigan, Josh Goot, Maticevski, Scanlan & Theodore and Willow.
Guests for the nights events included L’Oreal Paris ambassadors, Megan Gale and Barbara Palvin as well as Rachael Finch, Christine Centenera, Chelsea Scanlan and the face of COVET TV for LMFF; Nadia Coppolino.
The show was filled with an eclectic mix of colours, fabrics, hem lengths and in true Vogue style, high fashion and intricate detailing were definitely the focus of the night.
Colourful patterns, structured bodices and flared skirts dominated Josh Goot’s collection which was a standout in the runway. Other clear trends that dominated the runway were leather, lace, peplum tops, watercolour prints, long coats and capes, and the heavy use of black and white.
Don’t worry if you can’t attend the events as COVET & APL are all over it, follow our Facebook page for images and updates, to ensure you don’t miss a beat of the LMFF action.
