Australian Open season is upon us, and with it comes player-endorsed products. This time Anthony headed to Melbourne’s recently opened Lindt Chocolat Café to settle his sweet tooth and capture world number one tennis champion, Roger Federer.
Lindt, the Swiss master chocolatier since 1845, has appointed the Swiss tennis player the company’s global brand ambassador. Federer’s in-store appearance was celebrated with a chocolate tennis racket, with matching chocolate tennis balls, kick-starting his Australian Open tournament. Let’s hope the heat on court doesn’t bring him to melting point.
For every ace served by the tennis champion during the 2010 Australian Open, Lindt will donate $100 to the Roger Federer Foundation, with a minimum donation of $5000. The daily tally will be displayed at Lindt Chocolat Cafés nationwide.
